The actress was filming a scene in which she was driving a Jaguar,trying to escape zombie-like characters who were hanging off thehood, when the accident happened. The vehicle was being towedby a rig in order to give the appearance that the actress wasactually driving the car. The stunt driver operating the rig lostcontrol while turning a corner, causing Kidman's car to hit apole and knock over a garbage can. The actress and her co-star,10-year-old Jackson Bond, who was riding in the passenger seat,were both wearing seatbelts. Members of the crew immediately wrappeda blanket around Kidman and paramedics arrived to check the actressfor injuries. The 39-year-old star was taken to Cedars Sinai MedicalCenter and was released within two hours. According to Americanpublication Us Weekly, the actress was in shock and took a longbreak, but eventually resumed filming later that night. Her husband,Keith Urban, and 11-year-old son Connor Cruise, were reportedlyon set with her at the time of the accident.
