Angelina Jolie's Mother Dies
Actress Marcheline Bertrand, mother of Hollywood star AngelinaJolie, has died following a long battle with cancer. Accordingto a statement released by Jolie, 56-year-old Bertrand died onSaturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles after battlingcancer for seven-and-a-half years. Jolie, her partner Brad Pittand her brother James Haven were with the actress when she died.

Bertrand starred in 'The Man Who Loved Women' and 'Lookin' ToGet Out' during her career as an actress. Jolie is the daughterof Bertrand and actor Jon Voight. The couple divorced when Joliewas a toddler.
